What will happen if a shepherd is a bit inconsiderate and self-centred?

I could not imagine this, I feel that it is just not right. Not right for them to think and act like that. Sigh...

How are they going to take care of the sheeps in future? I wonder :( It is very scary that a shepherd behaves insensitive and do not feel the needs of the sheeps around him. How can this be happen? It's gonna to be tough :(
