Another week is down... I am indeed thankful for God's guidance and presence in my life

Finally I have got my laptop after a long wait =D Hope I can use it wisely and diligently.
Progressing well and still in the course of absorbing new knowledge, ideas, culture etc. There is so much to explore here. Better communications among the colleagues, this is something that I am very thankful.
Office politic again in another division. A fren is being bullied. Lord I pray that we, Christians in this workplace can shine for You and thru our witness, people can get to know you. What a blessing for being the children of God, we still have God with us no matter what happens. :)

A talk "The Pursuit of Holiness" by Dr Li ZhenQun. Indeed he is a knowledgable, quick and intelligent guy. Here is some excerps frm his talk.

神透过耶稣基督看我们 just like while purchasing pork in supermarket, we actually choose and see the pork thru a layer of plastic wrap. The pork is different from what it is due to the wrap.

We are called to be Holy and we are already Holy (已然) via Jesus Christ but yet to be (未然) Holy. The pursuit of Holiness is a PROCESS, hopefully one day we can become perfect like God for HE HImself is perfect. Perhaps we can never be perfect but we should be progressively heading towards the road to Holiness. Also, God is with us at any point of time. It is a horizozntal ladder instead of a vertical one. Be it moving forward and reverse, He will always there with us. What we need in us is TRUST.

Romans 12: 1-2 reminds us to have a Renewal in mind 心意更新. What does that mean? It means a change in
1. Thinking 思想
2. Attitude 态度
3. Understanding 了解

Lastly, Dr Li share this sentiment... REM...
Your good deed will not make God love you more. It is all by GRACE!
