haa... let me blog abt mahjong... my personal view lar...
Eh... nothing wrong with mahjong actually esp when we play for fun... Is it a form of gambling? Yes, when it involves money or any other form of bets... What is more impt is why do we want to do that? No other better thing to do or? Hmm i think this right or wrong thing is quite tricky :D
In order not to cause others fall, I would say I rather dun play. What if one day my friend just quotes me as the example, saying that Christians also play mahjong (eventhough it is without any bet). What kind of image will we project? I am a coward, i rather dun take the risk.
Actually mahjong, drink, clubbing, skimpy clothes, smoking... these are all the same... Bible does not state clearly that we can or cannot do. What bible tells us is... do whatever that honours God and do not be the stumbling block for others... God is good, He puts a yardstick in our hearts. He grants us the freewill to choose. So the choice is yours! At the end of the day, you are the one who is accountable to Him and those around you :)
