it's the time of the week that I wanna blog again, take it as a break.
*Out of Sight*
Came across this metaphor by Rev Thian. Nothing very special though but it reminds me that 'out of sight does not equal to out of mind'
Sometimes life is just like a boat, sailing on the sea. We see each other lives through our eyes. The boat sails despite storm. Most of the time, it survives the stormy rain and sun.
One day, when this boat is beyond what your eyes can see, meaning out of your radar, it does not mean that it sails no more or it has already drown. instead, It could mean that it sails towards its own goal, perhaps a better place for it. what's more important is the Lord is with the sailor on his vessel. Man limitations does not limit God's plan.
He mentioned this in the context of departures.
*Admin or RnD?*
Is it common that bosses must WIN in every situation? It was kind of interesting that i was caught in a email game with Mr birdnest with everyone else being the spectators. ha.
I must be out of mind to have 'those wise' words shooting back. Ha. It is obvious that MrBirdnest is the loser of the game. Many of us can't comphrehend why he wanted to start the email conversation publicly. WHat does that show? the wit or the foolish? duh..
Handsome boss is worse. He really just wanted to sit there, crossed his hands and legs to watch the drama uh. aduh... To think he made fun of birdnest in front of us and admin. faint.
mr highWaist may not be better. He could have smug at the side the moment he read those mails. He even asked how mrLoud think about the chaos. faint.
*Soverignty*
Mark Galli mentioned that we should always simply acknowledge God's soverignity instead of challenge Him on why this and that. If He is the Lord, you should just be submissive to the Lord.
He also mentioned one very interesting concept. Prayer is actually a way of understanding God's immutable character and how it intertwines with our lives.
Through prayers
~ we bring our requests to God.
~ we align our wants and needs with God
~ we have rounds of arguements with God
~ His will and plans are revealed as we wrestle with Him
~ we slowly understand His plan for us
~ our relationship with God become more initimate and personal
~ we fellowship with God
In short, no matter how hard you pray, God is still unchangedable. It is through the rounds of interactions, we align and surrender before HIM as we are clearer with His directions on us. Never try too hard to change God coz He is immutable. We will be changed instead and He will use His own way to align with us. ha. Interesting.
There's another left hand and right hand grace. Interesting concept too. :)
